Movement After Surgery: An Ant Story

I recently made a discovery that caused my own personal idea of self-healing to change. I constantly hear how crucial it is for someone after surgery to move their extremities to prevent bodily stagnation and recurring pain. This new discovery happened from the simple life of an ant.
One day a few weeks ago, I noticed someone had accidentally stepped on an ant. The ant survived its traumatic experience and did not stop moving. And, as I paid closer attention, the ant was getting better and picked up its initial pace. I was caught in awe as I made the immediate connection between the person who stepped on the ant--a person who had recently recovered from a procedure--and the ant itself.
From that moment, I learned that both the human and the ant have a resilience like no other, and that even through hardships like a procedure--or a shoe--, both man and ant may be able to sustain self-healing through movement. Nevertheless, it is still vital to seek help when you need it most.
